INSTRUCTION FOR USE
If you do not know how to wear the life jacket or the buoyancy aid, your rescue is not guaranteed.
1. You should wear the lifejacket or buoyancy aid at all times but this is impraticable so store in an accessible place.
2. Adjust the belts closed and fitted well.
  • Always wear it buckles closed, cords tightened.
  • Practice wearing it for an emergency situation. Practice in water to know how it works and the position it gives to you on the water.
3.Teach the children to use the equipment by themselves.Children panic when they fall into the water suddenly. This causes them to move their arms and legs violently, making it hard to float safety in a lifejacket or buoyancy aid.A lifejacket or buoyancy aid will keep a child afloat, but may not keep a struggling child face-up.That's why it is so important to teach children how to put on a lifejacket or buoyancy aid and to help them get used to wearing one in the water.Lifejackets or buoyancy aids are not babysitters.Even though a child wears a lifejacket or buoyancy aid when on or near the water,an adult should always be there, too.
4.Keep in mind that life jackets and buoyancy aids are worn over clothing items.
5.Your lifejacket or buoyancy aid may not act the same in swift or rough water as in calm water. The clothes you wear and the items in your pockets may also change the way your lifejacket or buoyancy aid works. If your mouth isn't well above the water, get anew one or one with more buoyancy.
    6. The buoyancy aid and the life jackets reduce the drowning risk, do not guarentee rescue.
